VIDEO: Robin Gorna, Excutive Director for PMNCH at the 70th UN General Assembly

Robin Gorna, Executive Director for The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH) is on her way to the UN General Assembly in New York where there will be significant announcements of the progress made to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, particularly related to reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health, as well as the adoption of a new sustainable development agenda for all, over the next 15 years.

In her blog, Robin explains why this General Assembly is hugely significant and highlights some of the important reports that will be launched at the annual Accountability Breakfast co-hosted by PMNCH, the independent Expert Review Group and Countdown to 2015. She also describes the achievements of PMNCH as a platform of more than 700 members working together to improve the health outcomes for women, children and adolescents.
