In this video, Kevin Osborne, Project Director for Linkages across the Continuum of HIV Services for Key Populations Affected by HIV (LINKAGES), and JoAnne Keatley, Director of the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health, discuss how the LINKAGES project is involving transgender leaders in the development of strategies for transgender health needs. The conversation took place on December 4, 2014, in Washington, DC, at the World AIDS Day event, Rights in Action.
The LINKAGES project conducts a wide range of activities to reduce HIV transmission among sex workers, men who have sex with men, people who inject drugs, and transgender people. It is funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief through the U.S. Agency for International Development.
