This podcast originally appeared on the JOY 94.9FM website here.

Matt McDonell speaks with Kim Green from FHI 360, a non-profit human development organisation dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. Kim speaks of the use of social media, particularly Facebook, to engage young people on issues relating to HIV. It is particularly pertinent in many African countries where government laws or social taboos create roadblocks in the education of youth on HIV. Kim tells of the obstacles and the lessons learnt in Ghana.

Kim Green is Chief of Party of the Strengthening HIV/AIDS Response Partnership with Evidenced-Based Results (SHARPER) project in Ghana.
