Imam Moussé Fall and Imam Cheikh Omar Seck from the Reseau d’Islam et Population (Islam and Population Network) speak in a classroom next to the Khar Yalla Mosque in Dakar, Senegal.

The network helps educate young imams, or Islamic community and worship leaders, in Senegal on the benefits of family planning and its connection to the values and teachings of Islam.

In Senegal, IntraHealth is partnering with religious leaders to train community-based religious mediators and health educators to promote the benefits of family planning and dispel myths.
