The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign started by the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute coordinated by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership in 1991. The 16 days from November 25 – International Day Against Violence Against Women- to December 10 – International Human Rights Day symbolically link violence against women and human rights and emphasize that such violence is a violation of human rights.
To contribute to the #16DaysOfActivism Against Gender-Based Violence, Sayfty decided to start a campaign and share what makes us feel unsafe. Here are few submissions from all over the world on what makes people unsafe. If you would like to be a part of this campaign please send a selfie along with a line on “I feel unsafe when…”.
