High Impact Practices (HIPs) are effective service delivery or systems interventions that when scaled up and institutionalized, will maximize investments in a comprehensive family planning strategy.
Supported by more than 25 organizations, the HIPs meet specific criteria: demonstrated impact on contraceptive use and relevance in a variety of country contexts. Consideration is also given to implementation experience from various settings, demonstration of implementation at scale, sustainability over time, and cost-effectiveness.
HIPs will be strongly represented at @ICFP2015. Follow #HIPs4FP for HIP-related events, nuggets of wisdom from HIP briefs, and to join the conversation!
