This fact sheet provides an overview of the objectives and key achievements of the Strengthening the Response to Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis in the Public Health Sector project in South Africa. Funded by the Lilly MDR-TB Partnership via United Way Worldwide, the project supports South Africa’s National Department of Health and its partners in achieving drug-resistant tuberculosis targets outlined in the National Strategic Plan on HIV, STIs and TB.
