Yesterday we had two Facebook Lives; Kaye Hayes, the Deputy Director of the Office of HIV/AIDS and Infectious Diseases at HHS spoke first with Antigone Dempsey about the Ryan White Program and the importance of data. The second Facebook Live was a conversation with Eugene McCray, MD, Director of Centers of Disease Control’s (CDC) Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. Dr. McCray shared highlights of the conference from a CDC perspective including how using HIV surveillance data improves HIV prevention and care services in communities and states (Data to Care) and other tools.
