These consultations will be done in two rounds: Round 1 is now underway and is focused on collecting views about the priorities for the updated Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health.
Later in 2015 (April – May), Round 2 will collect and synthesize views about the first draft of the updated Global Strategy.
A wide range of national, regional and global stakeholders working under the umbrella of the Every Woman Every Child movement are expected to contribute to updating the Global Strategy. It will be accompanied by an initial 5-year implementation plan to be finalized by May 2016.
